Hello all,

Just a reminder that we WILL be showing the Colts game on Sunday at 9pm. Just a few of you replied… The drink special will run from 7pm until the end of the game. Since there are so few attending, wings will be available, just not from the buffet trays. Just ask a bartender or waitress for the wings that you’re entitled to if you do order a drink special.

Most of you probably already know that JP Losman broke his leg in practice. He had surgery to expedite the recovery process. He’s expected to miss 8-12 weeks. Michael Vick had a similar injury last year and was able to return towards the end of the season. Lets hope for the best and for a speedy recovery!

Heads up! Spark up your creative minds. Next week we will be running a contest to name food items on the soon to be released McFadden’s Sunday football menu. So instead of a hamburger, you’ll be ordering perhaps a “Jim Kelly burger”, or something like that. I KNOW for sure you all can come up with something better than that! We’ll pass along the full menu early next week for the contest to begin. Start thinking!

If you’re going up to the opener, check out fellow member Michael Bly’s band! He’ll be playing from 7-10pm on Saturday September 11 at The Cruise Inn in Lackawanna. The address is 1648 Abbott Road. Not far from the Ralph! Stop by and check it out. Make sure you tell him you’re from the NYCBBB.

Next week’s game – the final preseason game
We are planning to show next week’s game against the Lions too. It’s a tough one. It’s a Thursday night game, and won’t be broadcast on the NFL Network until SATURDAY (9/4) morning at 11am. We have to figure out a way to show it later, since laws prohibit drinking before 12. But hey, you can count on me being there. I’ll figure out a way to show it. I’ll send out more details next week.
