Hello all 821 Bills fans!
Well…if the Red Sox can fight back from a 0-3 deficit to beat the mighty Yankees, who says the Bills can’t go from 1-4 to the playoffs!!! LET’S GO BUFFALO!!!!
And yes, the Bills won when I was at the game instead of McFadden’s, so for those of you that are superstitious, I am accepting tix, airfare, and hotel accommodation offers for the game this weekend in Baltimore to keep the streak going!
The Bills take on the Jamal Lewis-less/Todd Heap-less Baltimore Ravens this Sunday at 1pm. The game will not be nationally televised, so we expect a big crowd at McFadden’s when the doors open at 11am. And as Matt S. said, no more standing on the booths (which I too am guilty of!) and the speakers in the dining room will be fixed.
Roswell Park Raffle
We only raised $700 for Roswell Park at our big fundraiser a few weeks ago. Matt, Kevin, Ryan, Anna and I would like to break $1,000. We will be holding a 50/50 raffle at McFadden’s during the game. Tickets will be available for $5 each, or $15 for an arms length (and this is MY arms length, which at 6 ft 7 inches makes a heck of a difference) The proceeds will go to Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. If you have anything you’d like to donate in addition to raffle off for this worthy cause, please email me ASAP.
Due to Janet Jackson’s boob, TV is now delaying coverage by over 30 seconds to avoid what happened at the Super Bowl last year. Because of this, Sirius radio is now ahead of the TV coverage by over 2 plays. Until this is worked out, Sirius will be unavailable to us at McFadden’s.
I heard Michael Bly kicked butt at McFadden’s last weekend, and we will be binging him back to play again this season. In case you missed Michael Bly’s performance last Sunday, you can check him out tonight at 9pm at ACME Underground (9 Great Jones Street at Lafayette – 6 train to Bleeker, One block north)
Bills/Jets in Buffalo
I will be sending a separate email tomorrow with details about the NYCBBB trip to Buffalo for the Bills/Jets game.
