What’s up NYCBBB!?!

Man, what a season it’s been already huh?  Only 7 games deep and we’ve already had some of the highest highs and some of the lower lows.  (Let’s not talk about those rivalry jerseys ever again, shall we?)  But everything has led to this week, our near-annual regular season match up with the hated Kansas City Chiefs.  While early in the season it looked like the Chiefs weren’t going to be the team we’ve come to know, they’ve very annoyingly surged back and are coming into Western New York with a 5-3 record and a strong desire to prove they’ve still got what it takes to take down the Bills.  It should be another instant classic, and where else would you rather be to watch it than with the mafia at Penn 6!?

This week’s game watch is going to be a little different.  If you’ve watched the playoffs at Penn 6 before then this is going to feel very familiar.  Instead of table reservations and bracelet specials we’re packing as many Bills fans in as we can for an all you can eat/drink tailgate party for the AGES!  See the details below:

• You must be 21 or older to enter, and admission to the bar will be $60 for everyone
• Your entry fee will get you access to a premium buffet (wings, pizza, pasta, and pigs in a blanket) as well as an unlimited open bar (house mixed drinks, Bud and Bud light, Labatt and Blue light, house red or white wine, Happy Dad Seltzers, and Twisted Teas)
• The party kicks off at 4:00pm and the open bar lasts until the end of regulation
• We’ll have our usual raffle happening with some extra special prizes to win provided by the PUNT Pediatric Cancer Collaborative, who will be with us at the bar to cheer the Bills to victory!

Happy Victory Tuesday, NYCBBB!!

2-0 is still feeling pretty great today! After the anxiety-riddled (AMAZING) opener it was nice to be able to sit back, relax, and watch our boys absolutely wipe the floor with the New Jersey Jets. Great teams don’t let the trap games get the better of them, and this team is looking pretty great! Definitely some injuries to worry about heading into this week, but overall we’re feeling good atop the AFC East and getting ready for Thursday Night Football! GO BILLS!

Jets Weekend Recap

What a weekend we just had! We are so grateful to all of you who came out to Penn 6 (both on Saturday for our Jets Weekend Welcome Party and of course on Sunday to watch the game) and also to Lot F at MetLife as the bar hosted an absolutely unforgettable tailgate! We have so many people to thank, first and foremost the incredible team at Penn 6 who put on an ENTIRELY FREE tailgate complete with what seemed like endless drinks, a full grill and frying station serving up burgers, dogs, and wings, and even a liquor bar with draught beer, bloody mary’s, mixed drinks and Tullamore Dew shots! Anyone in attendance knows just how incredible this event was, it felt like the best party at the stadium. In addition to Penn 6 we want to thank our friends at Fans of Buffalo who participated alongside of us all weekend and helped us promote everything happening. As always we loved tailgating with the world famous Pinto Ron, Captain Buffalo, Mama J, and the entire Pinto Tailgate gang, who kept the bowling ball shots flowing and the music loud. We definitely made East Rutherford feel like Western New York!

And more than anyone we want to thank YOU, NYCBBB, because throughout the day we raised an INCREDIBLE $9,500 that goes directly to the PUNT Foundation. The money you donated will immediately benefit families in Western New York who are battling pediatric cancer. We heard directly from the foundation’s director yesterday who was beyond grateful for all of your generosity. You all truly epitomize what makes the Mafia so special, the best fans in the league! Bills vs. Miami at Penn 6

No rest for the undefeated, the Bills are welcoming the Miami Dolphins to Orchard Park this Thursday for another divisional match up. While the Dolphins certainly look beleaguered this year we can never look past an opponent, especially within the division, so the bar is ready to play the Shout song loud and proud all evening long. So I don’t know about you, but I have yet to come down from the high of Sunday night. That’s a game that none of us will likely EVER forget! A comeback that actually started at 7:16 in the 4th quarter but ultimately was completed inside of the final 5 minutes of the game, where all phases of the team united to wage one of the most EPIC, UNLIKELY, AMAZING wins of all time! And what a way to get all of us excited for our annual hosting of visitors to New York City who travel in to see the Bills take on the New Jersey Jets! We have a LOT going on this weekend, and in addition to our posts on Instagram (@nycbillsbackers) you can use this as your guide to all of the happenings! Saturday Pre-Game Party at Penn 6 with Fans of Buffalo

Coming into the tri-state area for the game and looking to congregate with the best fans in the NFL? Or are you already living here and just can’t wait until Sunday to party? Look no further than our home away from Western New York, Pennsylvania 6! In collaboration with the the fabulous folks at Fans of Buffalo, Penn 6 is hosting a party at the bar beginning at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 13th which will feature drink specials, jersey and ticket giveaways, and some other fun surprises! All of the college games will be on and even Sal Capaccio will be swinging through. Past visitors to this party have included some pretty notable family and friends of players and Bills royalty, so you definitely want to make an appearance and have a drink or four with us!

Sunday Tailgate at MetLife

For the third year in a row we will be set up in Lot F, towards the back of the lot farthest away from the stadium directly adjacent to Lot J! This lot is a platinum lot, so if you want to park where we will be that’s the pass you will need. If you already have a gold parking pass, or if you want to save a bit of money, you can park in the adjacent gold lot, Lot J, and walk over. We’ve posted a map of the lots and where we will be on our social media (Instagram: @nycbillsbackers). Be sure to follow us on social media as we will drop a pin and post our exact location on Sunday morning when we arrive. Look out for the flag with our New York City Bills Backers logo on it to find us!

This tailgate is ENTIRELY FREE! Penn 6 has spared no expense and will be providing food and drinks to anyone who wants them! All that we ask is that you consider donating to the PUNT Foundation as a thanks for the buzz and full stomach you will be able to take into the game. As we do every year, we are raising money for PUNT which is an amazing organization that takes care of families in Western New York who are battling pediatric cancer. What’s up NYCBBB?!

Good thing the preseason doesn’t count, huh? Sunday against the Bears didn’t leave us with much to cheer about, but that’s okay because the pre-season is meaningless, Chicago stomped us in pre-season last year too and look what that amounted to, and Josh didn’t even play. So onto the next! We hope you’re getting excited to reconvene at Penn 6 this weekend to get amped for the season to start and to watch the Bills take the field one final time before the games actually matter.
