I’d like to figure out how many people will be tailgating with us in 16-C. If you are going, can you please email me and let me know and how many guests you will have? The people on the bus don’t need to reply to me as I already have you down.

Hello 562 Bills Fans!

This week the Bills hope to rebound against an up and coming Bengals team at the Ralph. I’m going to throw myself off the roof if they don’t blow this team out! The game is at 1:00 so I suggest being there before noon if you want a seat. You know the drill.

All-NEW NYC Bills Backers T-shirts are available at the bar with a cool Statue of Liberty logo designed by Backer Brian Krupkin. Shirts can be purchased from any McFadden’s staff member for $15.

Jets Party Bus
Please keep RSVP-ing to me if you plan on taking the McFadden’s party bus to the Jets game next week. Beer, football, food…what else do you need! Its going to be a debacle! Thanks to Backer Kevin Smith (no, not the director!) for offering to drive the 2 kegs of Labbatt and other food to the Lot for us!

Jets Tix
As of now I do not have any extra tix for the Jets game. If I come across any, I will email everybody next week and first come first serve.

Disturbing Trend
I was in two different meetings this week, one here at the hospital and another at Lincoln Center. In both meetings, I had somebody say “pffff….this is New York, not BUFFALO!” and then have everybody in the room laugh. I give full permission to everybody on this list to SMACK the next person that makes this remark.

Hello 562 Bills fans!

Bills – NJ Jets Tailgate Next Weekend
We will be tailgating yet again for the Bills-Jets game on October 12th at the Meadowlands. The game is at 4:15, so I’m sure many of you will be there at 10:00am. We will again be tailgating in Lot 16-C as Bills fans have been doing for years. I have received confirmation, our fellow #1 Bills fan “Pinto Ron” will be driving to the tailgate from Buffalo and will have his world famous bowling ball with him. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, please click on the link to last year’s pictures below. Labatt Blue has been nice enough to donate 2 KEGS to us, so we’ll have plenty of beer! Also, McFadden’s is donating a 6-foot hero to our cause. I am still looking into what other food to bring.

McFadden’s Party Bus
Here’s the plan for the McFadden’s Party Bus as of now. We’ll have the Bus leave McFadden’s at 12-12:30, bringing us to the Meadowlands around 1pm. The bus has to park in the bus lot, so we’ll park the bus and we’ll all walk to the tailgate in Lot 16-C. We will then drink and eat and drink more and be merry! After the game, we’ll come back to Lot 16-C and celebrate our victory and let traffic die down. We will then board the bus and go back to McFadden’s and have a few after-hours cocktails.

This is for people who are definitely going as space is limited (40 people). If you 100% want to do this, please RSVP to me by replying “HELL YEAH!”.

Volunteer Needed
Since the bus can’t park at the tailgate location, we need to get the kegs and food to Lot 16-C. Is there anybody that has a truck/van that will be driving to the game that would be willing to drive this stuff out there? I’ll pay for your parking and tolls.

Hello Bills fans,

I have just received sad news. Dr. Stanley “Stan the Dentist” Zambron, the older NYCBBB gentleman who always sat at the bar and wore the Bills hardhat and brought the stuffed dolphin hanging by a noose, passed away on Monday. Funeral Services are this morning in Lackawanna. Stan was one of the original Bills Backers in the 1980’s at Name This Joint and was one of the most loyal fans at NYCBBB. Below a picture of Stan that portrays the way we will all remember him. He will be sorely missed.

Hello 555 Bills fans!

Wow, that was a tough game last weekend, but that is the past and this weekend is the future! The Bills are on their home turf this weekend against the 0-2 Eagles. Donovan McNabb makes his return to “upstate New York” for the first time since his Syracuse University days! The game is on at 1:00, so I suggest being there before the doors open at noon if you want a seat.

Blackout Rule
With the new NFL Sunday Ticket blackout rules, games that are on the local Fox affiliate are not seen on the NFL Sunday Ticket. I believe this week’s Bills-Eagles game is on Fox 5. If the game goes past 4:15, they will automatically switch to the 4:15 game and the signal will have to be uploaded to satellite. While this occurs, we may experience a 5-minute blackout til the Sunday Ticket kicks in. Those of you that were at McFadden’s for the New England game know this well! There’s nothing we or any Sunday Ticket subscriber can do about it, so we’ll have to bite the bullet if it happens. Lets pray that we are blowing them out by that time and won’t miss anything!

Sahlen Hot Dogs
OK, I apologize AGAIN about the Sahlen hot dogs last week. They will be available this weekend for $2.50 each. This includes a choice of pickle, ketchup, Webers mustard, Texas Hot Dog Sauce, and relish. Just place an order with any of McFadden’s’ staff.

Jets/Giants Tickets
I have a list of people looking for tickets to the Bills/Jets and Bills/Giants games in New JERSEY. If you have tickets to sell, please contact me.

Tickets for ME?
I decided yesterday that I miss my hometown of Orchard Park, so I have planned two trips to the motherland. Of course those trips revolve around two Bills games! I am looking for 3-4 tix to the Redskins game (10/19) and the Dolphins game (12/21). Please let me know if you have tix you are looking to get rid of!

If anybody is still suffering a hangover from the loss in Miami, here’s something that will cheer you up!
1992 — Started out 4-0 and then got destroyed by Miami at home 37-10. Anyone remember the Wildcard game that year?
1993 — Started out 2-0. Again, got drilled by Miami 22-13. Bills won their next 5.
1995 — Bills were 5-2 and went to Miami and got smoked 23-6. Still made the playoffs.
1996 — Started 4-1. Miami beat us 21-7. Made the playoffs.

Ugh…awful loss last night…but sometimes a loss can help a team get back on track, which I hope the Bills can get their act together this week on offense.

Lets not forget that the Phins come to Buffalo in FRIGID December. Payback’s a bitch.

Sahlens – MY bad!
Yes the Sahlen hot dogs were there, in fact I had two myself and they were amazing! However, I was not expecting over 300 of you crazy fans to show up for a nationally televised night game, so I told McFadden’s that no additional staff would be needed. I was wrong as there was nobody to order the made-to-order dogs from. My fault, I apologize. Next week the Sahlens will be there waiting for you with a proper system worked out!

Jets Party Bus
Ok…some GOOD NEWS! The Jets are now 0-3, so considering that most Jets fans are bandwagon fans, there should be a ton of tix available out there! Please ask around. Also, if you are seriously looking to purchase tickets, email me and let me know how many and I will create a list.

Due to excessive interest, we will be planning on having a McFadden’s party bus with kegs of Labatt going to and from the tailgate at the Meadowlands. Details to come!

Don’t forget, the Bills lost to the Phins during their Super Bowl runs from time to time. Have a good week and I’ll talk to you on Thursday!

Hello all 537 NYC Bills fans! (and welcome to the 30 new members):

Well, we’re entering the 3rd week of the NFL season, and our Buffalo Bills our 2-0, #1 in the division, and ranked top 3 in the NFL in every national poll! This weekend, the Bills travel to Florida to take on their arch-rival, the Miami Dolphins. The game is Sunday night at 8:30pm.

Sahlens Hot Dogs and Specials!
10 packages of Sahlen Hot Dogs are being shipped to McFadden’s as I write this, along with Webers mustard! We’re going to start the usual all-you-can-drink/eat specials at 7pm sharp and also serve the hot dogs at that time. So basically, if you want hot dogs (and a seat) be there at 7! The specials will end at the conclusion of the game.

TKO Shots!
McFadden’s will be serving $2 “TKO” shots in honor of our new monster linebacker, Takeo Spikes, during the game on Sunday night!

Missing Bills Flag
I’m sure most of you noticed the new Bills decorations up this past weekend. When I was collecting them at the end of the night, the Bills flag that was on the window in the dining room was missing. If whoever took it is on this list, PLEASE return it. Hell, I’ll even buy you a beer to show I have no hard feelings!

Jets-Bills Tix
Many of you are starting to email me about Jets tix. Its time to start hitting up our NY friends that have season tickets due to the debacle Jets’ season this year. Please post on our message board any tix you may have and I assure you that you won’t have a problem selling them. Also, since its a 4:15 game, a member suggested that we should get a party bus from McFadden’s to the Meadowlands. Let me know if this interests you.

Hello 507 NYC Backers!

That’s right Bills fans, this weekend we reached our season END goal of 500 email sign-ups! Welcome to all the new members! Just so you know, we send out a weekly email with any updates for the following game-day at McFadden’s.

HAHAHA…31-0!!! We DESTROYED the Pats! Thanks to the 260 of you that showed up, and to those of you that were standing on the wall with your shirts off waving them in the air at the end of the game singing the Shout song! (yeah, that really happened!) I’m still laughing and fired up for this weekend!!

Serious stuff (gotta get this out of the way)
I was informed that many of you were bringing your alcoholic beverages outside with you or drinking through the large front window last Sunday. This is against the law and you’re putting both the bar and NYCBBB in danger. McFadden’s may be forced to put a door-man out front to prevent this from happening, and will throw out anybody caught doing it from now on. For our sake, just ask a fellow Bills fan to watch your beer while you step outside..hell, leave it on MY table and I’LL watch your beer!

Also, McFadden’s didn’t say anything but just as a reminder, the buffet wings are for people on the specials ONLY. Just want to make that clear before we really get going this week!

OKAY..ON TO THE FUN STUFF!!!!

Labatt Blue
Labatt Blue will be supplying us with give-aways this weekend! How we plan on giving them away? No clue yet! Matt Soreco and I will be sitting at the booth next to the bar close to the bathrooms. Anything Bills-fanatic like will surely get you a give-away!

Big Crowd
Well, we’re the best team in the AFC East as of now, the game is in Florida and not nationally televised, and all of you regulars are back from Buffalo after last weeks destruction of the Pats. This basically means that we are expecting a HUGE crowd! People were lining up at 11:30 last week! Its pretty much a give-in that if you want a table or seat, be there at NOON! As you all know, McFadden’s is a huge bar so don’t worry, we have PLENTY of space!

Decorations
Special thanks to member Tim Stroth, who picked up some Bills flags for the bar in Buffalo last weekend!

Recruiting
We learned that there are still lots of Bills fans watching the games at various bars around the city because they’ve never heard of us. I also learned this last week when I met a ton of new Bills fans I’ve never seen at McFadden’s before! We are asking if you could please visit your old stomping grounds before a 4:00 game and recruit more fans, as I’m sure Bills fans would love to join us!

HUGE game this week! We win we’re 2-0 and either the Dolphins or Jets will be 0-2!
