It’s payback time. It’s time the Bills avenge their 35-8 loss against the Dolphins earlier this season. I’m going to be watching the character of this team. Are they going to lie down or fight? Are there guys on this team worth building around? That’s what I’ll be paying attention to.

You already know the time and place. If not, 1pm at McFadden’s and Calico Jacks.

Good morning all 2,014 NYC Bills fans!

Sorry for the late email, have been buried at work and forgot to send earlier. The Bills play host to the Titans today at 1pm. Lets be honest here, we’re due for a win.  Specials at McFaddens and Calicos start at noon. If you need added incentive to come down to 42nd and 2nd, McFaddens just replaced the projector with an 80 inch flatscreen! I can’t wait!

My wife’s family, all Jets fans, convinced my 5 year old son that the Jets are awesome and the Bills stink when they babysat him recently. I had to inform him that Santa hates Jets fans and doesn’t deliver presents to them. Oh, and monsters live under their beds.

Hello all 2,018 NYC Bills fans!

Hope everybody enjoyed their Thanksgivings! I was down on the west coast of Florida for last week’s game which wasn’t televised locally, good thing as I heard it was one of the worst games ever played by a Buffalo Bills team. Fred Jackson is out for the year so its finally time to see if number 9 overall pick CJ Spiller can justify the position at where the Bills took him. The Bills head to NJ to take on the Jets at 1pm, the game will be shown with specials at McFadden’s and Calico Jack’s.

If you’re heading to the game like I am, we’ll be in the same tailgating location that we were in for the Giants game a few weeks ago. Again, McFadden’s will be providing some beer for those heading there that can’t drive, and they’ve decided not to charge for it. Because of this, I ask that you be honest and only use the beer if you had to take mass transit to the game, its a very nice thing for McFadden’s to do for us. I traded texts with Kenny “Pinto Ron” Johnson who will be there as always with his famous tailgate. Please see links below to a map of our location and pictures from the Giants tailgate so you can fully understand where we are. Its called Lot 26 next to the IZOD Center and we’ll be near pole A. We easily had 150+ Bills fans there a few weeks back The best way to describe the location is if you see the huge failed mall they built and you look at the ski ramp, if you drove a car up and off of it you’d fall onto our spot.

At least David Nelson scored points with his cheerleader girlfriend. Then again, he did get her booed. Maybe Jerry Jones will fire her.

Is it possible for a mid-November game against the Dolphins to be a “must win?”

I believe so – unless you subscribe to the theory that the only must-win games are those in which a loss results in elimination.

This season’s been a blast for Bills fans, but let’s face it; this week, the team looked as bad as the 44-7 score, and the game against the Jets the prior week wasn’t as close as the 27-11 score would indicate.

Maybe teams are catching up to the Bills’ schemes (those short passes don’t seem to be gaining 10 yards at a clip anymore; they seem to be gaining two or three.) Or, maybe an overall lack of talent is becoming more apparent – and damaging – on both sides of the ball.

Regardless, at 5-4, our worldview isn’t as rosy as it once was. To be honest, I’d be stunned if many of us are actually surprised this has happened. Which doesn’t make it any more pleasant to confront.

Which brings me back to the premise of a mid-November “must win” on the road against the Fish.

Let’s figure the Bills need 10 victories to potentially contend for a playoff spot. The team still has to face the Pats and the Jets again, on the road. They also need to face the Chargers on the road – which won’t be easy regardless of the Chargers’ recent struggles.

The Bills need to do a lot of things better – quickly – and among those things is beating the Dolphins twice, beginning this coming Sunday. Two victories over the Fish, combined with December home wins over the Broncos and Titans, would take Buffalo to nine wins.

One step at a time, though. First, they need to win in Miami.

First, thank you to all the veterans for protecting us and ensuring the freedoms we enjoy.

It’s been a while since I fired off an e-mail. How are you all doing?

The Bills travel to Dallas this week. Game is at 1pm. You all know the deal.

Let’s hope the Bills bounce back from that disaster against the Jets. If you take it from Mark Miller, Dallas is going down!

Heads up on upcoming Jets game and tailgate
McFadden’s is going to set up a tailgate for the Jets game again. For drinks, this time they’re going to sell bracelets for a small fee, which you’ll be able to get at the bar in the upcoming weeks. Of course anyone can byo and hang out together. More details will come soon.
