Sad Day: Hunter Kelly

Hello all 1085 Bills fans,

I regret to inform all of you that Hunter Kelly, son of Jim Kelly, passed away this morning after an 8-year fight with Krabbe Disease. Hunter was not supposed to live past his first birthday, but fought on for years and became an inspiration to Western New Yorkers and Bills fans alike across the nation. It’s a sad day for Buffalo & the New York City Buffalo Bills Backers.

We’ll look into doing something for Hunter and the Kelly family on behalf of NYCBBB. Please email me if you have any ideas.

Please keep the Kelly family in your prayers this weekend.

Scrimmage Tonight
For those of you in need of a place to watch the Bills/Packers scrimmage (8-9:30pm on NFL Network) in Manhattan tonight, I just had lunch at a cool bar called The Blue Room. They have amazing Atomic Wings AND Labatt Blue, and they’ve offered to televise the scrimmage. The bar is located on 60th Street and 2nd Avenue right next to the entrance of the 59th Street Bridge. They also have happy hour specials until 8pm.

McFadden’s & Calico Jacks
Your NYCBBB staff met with the owners/management of both McFadden’s and Calico Jacks on Tuesday and have finalized plans for the upcoming season. I’ll send details next week, including the new policy that table reservations will be accepted at Calicos! Stay tuned…

Have a great weekend!
