Hello all 732 Bills fans!
Are you ready for some Buffalo Bills football??? I know I am! The season starts this Sunday, so please take time to read this email so you are aware of the upgrades we have implemented at McFadden’s.
I am back from my tour of Rochester, Buffalo, Ithaca, and London…fully re-energized for this season! My tour of Buffalo was a let down in some ways (including the fact that there is not one bit of info about Buffalo at the Clarence Rest Stop tourist booth, the last and busy rest stop on I-90 before reaching Buffalo) but that is another story for another time.
The Bills take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at The Ralph this Sunday at 1pm. For those of you heading to the game in Orchard Park, please head over to Kenny’s Pinto, our official tailgating spot. Here is a link to his location:

For the rest of you here in the Tri-State area, I hope to see all of you at McFadden’s on 42nd and 2nd Ave since the game will not be televised on regular/cable TV. The doors open at 11:30, and I’LL BUY A SHOT FOR THE FIRST 5 PEOPLE IN LINE! Specials run from 12-5pm.
Matt and I have worked very hard this off-season to increase the Bills experience at McFadden’s. Along with the optional drink/wing specials (https://www.nycbbb.com/features/specials.shtml), Sahlen’s Hot Dogs, and the Shout Song, here are some other things to keep an eye out for:
Buffalo Radio Feed — McFadden’s now has all the components to carry the John Murphy/Alex Van Pelt radio feed. They have worked out the kinks to get the sound delay to match what appears on TV. They hope to perfect doing this on Saturday for the Notre Dame game so there will be no issues on Sunday. Bear with us while we make this happen!
Door Man — McFadden’s will have a staff member at the door to sell you bracelets and prevent people from taking alcohol outdoors. He will also be able to direct you to Calico Jacks if you feel McFadden’s is too crowded.
Football Menu — There will be a Shout Menu of all Buffalo foods available for purchase. Included are all those fried foods you love, and even Beef-on-Weck. McFadden’s invested in a good slicer to get the meat as close to a true Weck sandwich as possible. Let us know what you think of the Buffalo-named foods!
New Big Screen — I’ve been told the new big screen TV in the dining room is “Out of Hand”
Back Bar — There will be a bar located in the back lounge area, where there is a new plasma TV and additional seating.
Molson Canadian — You asked for it, we got it! We are still working on the Labatt Blue Light, it is very hard to come by so McFadden’s will not be carrying it this Sunday. We will get it in as soon as we can.
Wing Sauce — Let us know what you think of the new wing sauce we decided on!
Keep in mind that this is the first week doing most of this, so there may be some growing pains. We will do our best to make sure everything runs smoothly!
One last thing, please be sure to tip your wait staff and bartenders. They are there to serve you and it can be easy to forget a tip when you have an all you can eat/drink special.
